FastaForm Privacy Policy

FastaForm is an offline mobile form-entry application. It allows users to import form definitions, enter records, save drafts, submit records, amend records, preview data, export files, and generate scoped credentials.

Data stored on the device

FastaForm stores app data locally on the user's device, including imported form definitions, saved drafts, submitted records, diagnostics, generated credential files, and remembered credentials if the user enables that option. The app uses local encrypted storage helpers before writing data to device storage.

Data collected by the developer

FastaForm does not operate a developer-hosted backend for collecting form records, imported forms, credentials, drafts, exports, photos, audio, location values, or diagnostic files. Data entered into the app remains on the device unless the user chooses to export, share, copy, or otherwise transmit it outside the app.

Permissions

FastaForm may request device permissions depending on the form features used:

Camera: used to capture photos or scan codes for form fields.
Location: used when a form asks the user to record location information.
Microphone: used when a form includes audio capture.
Storage or file access: used to import .fstfrm form files and export records or files.
Internet: used for Google Play billing and app platform services.

Payments

FastaForm may use Google Play Billing for credential generation. Payment processing is handled by Google Play. FastaForm does not receive or store full payment card details.

User control

Users can remove app data by deleting records, drafts, imported forms, exports, and remembered credentials in the app where available, or by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app through Android system settings.

Exports and sharing

If a user exports, shares, copies, uploads, emails, or otherwise transmits app data outside FastaForm, that external handling is controlled by the user, the user's organization, and the third-party services or devices involved.

Organizational responsibility

Teams using FastaForm are responsible for lawful data collection, consent, privacy notices, device access controls, backups, exports, retention, deletion, and any PII, health-data, HIPAA, or local regulatory obligations that apply to their forms and records.

Children

FastaForm is intended for organizational and field data collection workflows. It is not directed to children.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app, permissions, payment flow, or data handling changes. The effective date above indicates the current version.
